Pantai Semeti: Beautiful and Amazing Natural Aquarium in Lombok

Lombok's readiness as a mass tourism destination seems to date is still not well organized. Although Lombok has long been considered one of Bali's main competitors as a mass tourism destination in Indonesia, unfortunately, until now, improvements in various areas, such as the streets, toilet facilities or changing rooms, to the cost of retribution are still unclear.

Lombok has considerable tourism potential and is recognized as one of the most attractive tourist destinations beside Bali. But unfortunately, as mentioned above, there are many things that need to be addressed. For example, in some of Lombok's famous beaches, we still find it difficult to find proper sanitation, sometimes there is no dumpster so that tourists often throw garbage in any place; not even a bit of the garbage which then ended up in the sea.

Although access to several popular beaches in Lombok such as Senggigi Beach, Kuta Beach, and some other beaches are quite good, but it seems that we still find many unpaved roads that are not even worth going to some other interesting places such as Semeti Beach . In fact, although this beach status as a hidden beach and newly exposed, but its beauty has long been heard to be able to attract many local and foreign tourists to come there.

Location Semeti Beach is located in Central Lombok, located not too far from Kuta Beach or Mawun Beach. This beach began to rise because many netizens who upload photos of their holiday results there, the average look cool makes us curious. How not, this beach still looks beautiful even when the eyes of the camera take pictures from various angles.

Some time before, Semeti Beach is not much known by tourists even by the people of Lombok itself. No wonder, because the beach is located in a hidden place and access paths to get there is still not feasible.

Not easy to reach this beach because it is behind the hill that runs along the rice fields, not on the asphalt, and holes. During the rainy season, the road is very difficult to pass because it is slippery and muddy. But still, the beauty of the panorama along the way to the coast can amaze anyone who comes to visit.

Like other beaches in Central Lombok, in Semeti Beach we will find a lot of rocks. But a little different, the rocks that are around this beach not only forming hills, but not a few who form milestones like crystal blocks. The rock shaped like a milestone reminds us of Superman's hiding place.

On the beach, some places provide fine white sand like the beaches in general, but some more, especially close to the parking area, we can find the sand with bigger grains such as pepper grains, but feels smoother if compared with sand pepper in Kuta Beach in Lombok.

Sea water in this place is very clear both at low tide and tide. When the water recedes, we will easily see rocks that appear scattered large enough jutting toward the sea.

If you want to see more amazing scenery, you can climb some rocky hills around the beach. From the top of the hill, the view slightly feels more free and more spacious presents a very beautiful panorama. Along the shoreline, the waves seem to be incessantly splashing against the rocks. When looking around, in the distance we can still see Mawi Beach and Selong Belanak among the hills and rocks. The scenery presented was amazing.

If you want to explore, in some places on this beach, there are small gaps that provide interesting sights. It is said to be interesting because often the ocean waves entering into the crevices of the rocks are dancing irregularly as it blows into the narrow crevices of the reef.
